Adding a preview link and image to your SMS

It's a little known secret that you can add a preview link and image to your texts when they are delivered and displayed to an iOS handset (iPhone).

This can be done with any text sent from the SMS Expert platform!

When you send a text, put your web address at the very end of the message. make sure you put the full http:// or https:// bit at the start,

By default these will display on the phone as a grey bubble showing the page title, domain, and small icon.

But by adding a few Open Graph (OGP) metadata tags on your website pages, you can make these link previews look great by displaying images and meaningful captions.

It sounds complicated, but it's literally a few extra lines in the header of your webpage.
